Tanzania's richest musician Diamond Platinumz on Friday, October 5, moved hearts in his home-country and the entire East African region after celebrating his birthday by giving back to society. The Utanipenda crooner turned 29 in style as he took to Tandale where he was born, raised and surprised his people with tonnes of goodies.
However, the biggest beneficiary of Diamond's philanthropy was none other than his loyal and longtime photographer/videographer Lukamba Official whom he gifted a brand new car. Diamond hailed his photographer for his hard work and handed him documents and keys to his new car as Tandale residents witnessed.
The young photographer could not contain his joy and was sent into waterworks with the surprise. Also present at the event was Diamond's mum Sandrah and Tanzania's popular Provincial head RC Makonda.
RC Makonda in return gifted Diamond and other Tanzanian musicians with extra hours for their shows in the country. Apparently, Tanzania had banned performances past 12.00AM but RC Makonda lifted the ban and announced musicians will now perform all through to 2.00AM, thanks to Chibudi Chibudee.
